So I’ve been trying to figure out where to start, and I think the answer is an infodump followed up by posts, because SO much has happened.
In the past few months:
- I changed my name at work and elsewhere, and I’m looking into a legal name change
- I started using he/him pronouns and identifying as transmasc (transmasculine)
- I had my rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis, which I’ve had for 18 years, removed, after I pointed out that it didn’t fit
- I understand why my RA was so much worse than everyone else’s (because it isn’t RA)
- I have an Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome diagnosis, almost certainly hypermobile type but awaiting genetic testing to confirm
- I have a sleep apnea diagnosis and started using CPAP, and it’s amazing
Actual posts to follow, but it’s been a lot! Lots of good things, though, for the most part.
